ITINERARY STA. CRUZ – CRUISE TOUR | 30 July - 04 August 2019

Upon arrival at Baltra Airport, a naturalist guide will be waiting to take you to Santa Cruz Island. On this island and on our way to Puerto Ayora, where you will be staying, we will make a stop for lunch at a farm in the highlands where we can hopefully find giant tortoises. This will be your first encounter with the wonderful wildlife of the archipelago.

In the afternoon, after you have settled in the hotel, you will be able to participate in a relaxing yoga session.

The day will start with an energetic yoga session followed by a healthy breakfast. To continue with the exploration of the island, we will take a walk through the dry forest that leads to Tortuga Bay Beach. Here we can relax and enjoy the incredible natural environment along with sea iguanas, finches and more. We’ll bring snacks and drinks for lunch at the beach.

After we return town you’ll have the afternoon off so you can enjoy the local culture on your own.

After a delicious breakfast, we will head towards Punta Estrada to explore the coastline of the bay while paddle boarding.  On the way back, we will go to lunch in a local restaurant, and in the afternoon, we will participate in a yoga session before embarking on our yacht to enjoy dinner and start our cruise through the islands.

Floreana Island will be our second island to explore.  After a night navigation and breakfast on board, we will disembark at Post Office Bay for a short walk and learn about the history and the first population settlements in Galapagos.

In the afternoon, we will visit Punta Cormorant and The Devil’s Crown to snorkel and discover the marine fauna.

Española Island will be our destination for this day; here we will look for the famous Galapagos Albatrosses, Nazca boobies and many more unique species of the islands. In the afternoon, we will make another landing at Gardner Bay before we continue on our journey to San Cristobal Island.

Before finishing our cruise, we will visit Isla Lobos to enjoy the landscape, spot sea lions and frigate birds. On our way to San Cristobal Island, we will have breakfast on board and once we arrive, our guide will direct us to the airport.
